  • Structure characterization by means of X –ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), and Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES).
  • Magnetism in low-dimensional systems.
  • Thin films synthesis by means molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) technique.

Research contributions on topics of:

  • Metal-fullerenes syntheis and characterization.
  • Heavy ions and mesons detector construction and testing for the Large Hadron Collider at CERN

Professional experience by the main working stages abroad:

  • University of Pisa and National Institute of Nuclear Physics, Italy, 2005-2006. Construction and testing of the Tracker in Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector for the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
